Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage keys used to remember preferences such as cookie consent.

How Nodecloud Core uses them

We use essential cookies/localStorage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, and we may use analytics cookies only after acceptance to understand aggregate traffic patterns.

Types

  • Essential — required for basic site functions such as storing your consent choice. The site remains usable if you reject analytics.
  • Analytics — optional measurement of page views and referrers to improve content structure.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
nodecloud_core_cookie_consent Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner Until cleared (localStorage) Nodecloud Core
ncc_session Essential load-balancer session affinity when hosting enables it Session Nodecloud Core hosting
_ncc_analytics Optional anonymized page-view metrics (set only after Accept) 6 months Nodecloud Core

Managing or disabling cookies

Use the Accept or Reject buttons on our banner. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the localStorage consent key and will show the banner again. Browser controls can block cookies entirely.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request may expose your IP address to Google. We do not load third-party advertising cookies. Microsoft Store links navigate away from our site and are governed by Microsoft’s policies.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting optional analytics does not block courses, forms, or navigation. Blocking all cookies or storage may cause the consent banner to reappear every visit.
